Head on over to the Missouri side at the (sorta) new Chain of Rocks Park! We’ll meet over by the start of the bridge.

Chain of Rocks Bridge is an easy, wide, flat, paved bridge over the Mississippi River to walk or wheel. The views are unique & wondrous!!! It’s an excellent place to eagle watch & check out the other waterfowl. If you have binoculars this is a great time & place to bring them! Just a quick mile & back for a total of 2 miles, or walk as far as you like & turn around. Wear weather appropriate clothing, comfortable, sturdy shoes & bring some drinking water.

REMINDER : ALL HIKES ARE WEATHER PERMITTING. {THIS INCLUDES HEAT, RAIN, CRAZY WIND, COLD & SNOW.} The weather for this Sunday is currently sitting at a gloomy 79 degrees with a 70% chance of rain. What in the Missouri weather fuck is with this two weeks of rain business?! Listen, if it’s a little rain we will rock it but if there’s thunder & lightning while we’re supposed to be walking I’ll have to call it, as we will be on a big metal bridge over the olll’ Miss. (Mississippi River)

We usually have an awesome turn-out at this wonderful walk. I’m reeeally hoping the weather turns for the better & I get to see y’all on Sunday! Especially because I will be mostly off-grid the next couple of weeks while I take off on a cross-country camping & hiking adventure to+in Glacier National Park. I'm excited to share the details with you when I get back, but in the meantime, please continue to get out & enjoy any nice weather we may be blessed with & our beautiful parks here in Missouri!
